Not much has happened... again

MLB: Miami Marlins at Atlanta Braves Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

A couple of suspect-ish pitchers moved teams today in Jordan Yamamoto and Alex Cobb. If Yamamoto still has nightmares about that dreadful outing where Don Mattingly hung him out to dry against the Braves, well, sorry pal.

Former Braves third base coach and Front Office special assistant was hired by MLB today to assist with coaching development, focusing on identifying and developing coaching candidates from traditionally underrepresented groups. Pretty cool that MLB is at least taking steps to take this seriously.

Oh, and Dustin Pedroia is retiring — while still getting the remaining moolah on his contract. So I guess it wasn’t that slow of a day after all. Also: noreaster!
