Marcell Ozuna is a flat circle

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays at Atlanta Braves Adam Hagy-USA TODAY Sports

So, the day in Marcell Ozuna news:

Someone tweeted that Ozuna was signing with the Rays for $88 million and four years. This was suspicious, because at $22M AAV, Ozuna would push the Rays nearly to their highest payroll ever, in this COVID-affected economy. A Rays beat writer then tweeted that no, that was not true — and really, I’m thinking that since it’s still 2020 (prove me wrong), what he actually meant was that in fact, it isn’t true because the Rays are actually signing Ozuna to a $110M/5 deal. I mean, they aren’t, but would you really be surprised if they did? After everything that’s happened in the past 11 months?

With the Twins signing Nelson Cruz, it’s not actually clear who is in on Ozuna. Which means he’ll end up a Brewer or something.
