Braves bats struggle in 7-2 loss to Red Sox

There wasn’t a ton in the way of offense from the Atlanta Braves professional baseball club in their spring game against Boston as they fell by the score of 7-2. Ian Anderson had a bit of an uneven outing but overall looked good. Nolan Kingham had a relief outing that he probably wish he could have back.

Toussaint working to find his fit

Amidst all of the talent on the pitching side that the Braves have both on their 40 man roster as well as further down the minor league ranks, Touki Toussaint came into this spring at serious risk of getting permanently lost in the shuffle as he has struggled in the past to lock down a permanent job on the Braves roster. Fortunately, he has had a strong spring so far and seems to be finding his way pretty well.

Braves’ A.J. Minter aims to replicate 2020 success

No one questions the talent that AJ Minter has and at times, he has looked like a cornerstone high leverage reliever. However, he has also struggled at times to stay healthy and hasn’t been consistently good so far in his career. He is in camp looking to show that his strong 2020 wasn’t just a fluke.

Draft prospect Rocker aces first test of ‘21

Yep, its that time of the year when we start figuring out what the top of the MLB draft class is going to look like and so far, it seems like Vanderbilt’s Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker are right in the thick of the discussion. Rocker made his first start against a top college program recently and, well, he looked dominant.
