Hello everyone! We are excited to launch a new feature for Atlanta Braves community on a new app called Locker Room!
What is Locker Room?
Locker Room is an app that allows us to create live conversations with fans and experts from around the MLB and other major sports. It also has a chat section where people can talk amongst themselves during the conversation, or ask questions for the hosts of the room.
Why should I join?
Locker Room allows us to answer your questions about the Braves in a way that allows more interactions with fans and listeners than a traditional podcast or mailbag. We plan on incorporating Locker Room for segments on the podcast network eventually. It also allows us to have a fun, two-way conversation with our community in a way that we haven’t really been able to before.
When will these conversations take place?
We don’t have a set schedule yet but the plan is to do at least one per week. We will give you a heads up so make sure to stay turned here on Talking Chop in addition to Twitter (follow @TalkingChop and @Kris_Willis). We will be discussing Braves Spring Training, the 2021 season, MLB and anything else we can think of.
How do I join Locker Room?
- Download the Locker Room app from the App Store (available only on iOS devices for now)
- Create an account if you don’t already have one.
- Go to the home page and look for a room hosted by me or Talking Chop.
When is the first chat?
We are planning on testing this out for the first time Wednesday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Find me in a room titled “Atlanta Braves Spring Training chat.” Talk to you then!
