The Atlanta Braves return to North Port Tuesday for a matchup against the Boston Red Sox at CoolToday Park. Huascar Ynoa is scheduled to get the start for Atlanta while the Red Sox are scheduled to go with right-hander Garrett Richards.

Ynoa will be making his fifth appearance of the spring. So far he has allowed 11 hits and 10 runs over 10 innings. He has struck out 18 and walked five over that span. Ynoa has looked great through parts of his outings but has seemed to have one bad inning which has skewed his numbers. He is among the pitchers that are vying for the final rotation spot. Atlanta has continued to stretch him out, but he also looks like he could be successful in more of a bullpen role so that is something we may see before the season is over.

After struggling through is first two appearances of the spring, Richards finally put together a good start last time out against the Rays. He allowed just one hit and struck out seven over four scoreless innings. He did walk three batters and now has nine in just eight innings this spring so there is still work to be done.

Atlanta will roll out most of its regulars for Tuesday’s game. Jason Kipnis will hit eighth and be the DH.

There is no TV option listed for Tuesday’s game but you can stream it via MLB.com and MLB.tv. You can also follow along on the radio at WFOM 1230 or 106.3 FM.
