Road To Atlanta Podcast: Mailbag Episode and Fangraphs Top 30

Road to Atlanta is our weekly podcast where we discuss all things minor leagues and prospects for our beloved Atlanta Braves. We have relaunched the podcast and it can be found in the same stream with the Talking Chop podcast, so if you subscribe to it...you have easy access to R2A as well. Episodes will go live (most of the time) every Thursday evening and will cover a wide range of topics including top performances from the previous week, deep dives into specific prospects or topics, and lots of sweet guests.

It’s a two person show this week with our divine ruler, Eric Cole, and yours truly manning the microphones. Our big news for the week was the Fangraphs Top 30, and let’s just say we had some thoughts about a certain ranking on that list. The battle for the last rotation spot between Bryse Wilson and Kyle Wright became a topic of conversation after the Braves made it clear who they favored with the assignment of Wright. The big topic of the week, however, was our mailbag and we spent a while discussing listener questions. Take a shot at guessing how many times we mentioned Michael Harris because it was a lot. We discussed some prospects we were higher than other evaluators on, the catching situation among prospects, and a lot about how we could see the Braves handling minor league assignments and promotions this year.
