The Atlanta Braves will wrap up exhibition play in Fort Myers Tuesday afternoon against the Boston Red Sox. Drew Smyly is Atlanta’s scheduled starter while Boston will go with left-hander Martin Perez.

Smyly will be making his fourth appearance of the spring. He’s been solid but one bad outing has skewed his overall numbers. He allowed just one hit, a walk and struck out six over five scoreless innings in his last start against Tampa Bay.

Brian Snitker announced Monday that Mike Soroka is scheduled to throw an inning or two in Tuesday’s game. This will be Soroka’s first game action since suffering a torn Achilles last season.

Perez faced Atlanta back on March 20 and was tagged for six hits and five runs over five innings. He has allowed 14 hits and five earned runs in 15 innings during Grapefruit League play.

Dansby Swanson returns to the lineup Tuesday after he was scratched Monday due to stiff calf.

There is no local TV option for Tuesday’s game but you can watch the Red Sox broadcast on MLB.tv. You can also follow along on the radio at WFOM 1230 or via the MLB app.
