The Atlanta Braves will make the short trip to Bradenton Thursday where they will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bryse Wilson is scheduled to make his first start of the spring for Atlanta. Wilson is among the group that is vying for a spot in the team’s rotation. He didn’t have much of an impact during the regular season in 2020 but finished on a good note with a great performance against the Dodgers in the NLCS. Left-hander Tyler Anderson is scheduled to get the start for the Pirates.
Ender Inciarte, Dansby Swanson and Austin Riley are the only Braves’ regulars that are making the trip. Shea Langeliers gets the start as the DH and Alex Jackson will be behind the plate and catching Wilson.
