Okay look, the Braves have been pretty frustrating at times so far this year. Some through no fault of their own with crappy batted ball luck and injuries...and some self-inflicted wounds where the entire pitching staff’s ability to command has seemingly disappeared and everyone in the lineup not named Ronald Acuna Jr. and Freddie Freeman (and Panda to be fair as well) off to a pretty rough start offensively. We still don’t know how long Drew Smyly, Cristian Pache, Mike Soroka, Ender Inciarte, Max Fried, or even Ozzie Albies are going to be out.

However, baseball is back in our lives and its back to a nice long season where stretches like these can matter less. Ronald Acuna Jr. is the best player in baseball right now and despite all of the adversity, they are still just three games under .500 and going against a Cubs team today that doesn’t seem particularly scary with some favorable matchups coming up after this series. A win today gives them another series win. Again, we’ll focus on the positives here. The sky is not falling just yet.

So join us as we discuss the game as it happens in the comments below. Remember, behave yourselves and try to be kind. Troublemakers will get put in timeout. Without further adieu, lets do this thing.
