Following the beatdown last night the Braves have now announced that they have recalled Cristian Pache and have placed Guillermo Heredia on the 10-day injured list with right hamstring inflammation.
The #Braves today recalled OF Cristian Pache to Atlanta and placed OF Guillermo Heredia on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 30, with right hamstring inflammation.

Pache suffered a strained left groin on the 14th of April and was placed on the IL. He returned to business on the 24th of April and was optioned to the alternate site to likely get some work in and some reps before returning to Atlanta today.
At the time of injury Pache was struggling at the plate hitting .133/.161/.200 good enough for a -2 wRC and -.2 fWAR. This was quickly erased with journeyman Guillermo Heredia who provided decent defense out in center but hit .300/.429/.575 good enough for a 169 wRC+, .7 fWAR which put him second on the team behind Ronald Acuña Jr. I didn't think I would type this sentence but it’s a rather big impact on the offensive side of things to this lineup that really started to get things clicking lately but the present and future rest with Pache.
