With Saturday’s game getting washed out, the Atlanta Braves now have doubleheaders scheduled for Sunday in Atlanta and Monday in New York. The Braves announced their plan for how they will cover Sunday’s doubleheader Saturday afternoon with Bryse Wilson slated to start Game 1 and Saturday’s scheduled starter Drew Smyly going in Game 2.

Wilson last pitched Tuesday at Gwinnett and was the odds on favorite to take Tucker Davidson’s start Sunday. He will likely be brought up as the 27th man for the doubleheader. Wilson has made five starts for Atlanta this season posting a 4.38 ERA and a 5.96 FIP in 24 2/3 innings. His last start in the majors came on May 22 when he held Pittsburgh to five hits and one run in 6 2/3 innings.

The Cardinals will stick with their rotation with Saturday’s scheduled starter Adam Wainwright going in Game 1 and Kwang Hyun Kim getting the start in Game 2.
