The rosters for the 2021 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game were announced Wednesday and the Atlanta Braves will be represented by a pair of outfield prospects. Both Michael Harris and Drew Waters will make the trip to Coors Field where they will join 32 of MLB Pipeline’s Top 50 players.
The American League and National League will face off in a seven-inning game on July 11.

Notable top prospects who will participate in the game include Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman, Tigers infielder Spencer Torkelson and Mariners outfielder Jarred Kelenic. Former UGA and current Mariners prospect Emerson Hancock will be part of the American League squad.
The Braves drafted Harris in the third round of the 2019 Draft out of Stockbridge. He began to garner some prospect buzz last year and turned some heads while working at the team’s alternate site. He carried that success into Spring Training where he saw a lot of action and has backed that up with a solid performance at High-A Rome where he is hitting .319/.341/.805 with four home runs and 11 stolen bases in 42 games.
Waters was a second round pick out of Etowah High School in Woodstock in 2017. He is in his first full season at Gwinnett as a 22-year old. He has had an up and down season at the plate but has worked hard to refine his approach. Waters is currently hitting .230/.344/.682 with three home runs and 12 stolen bases.
