The votes are in and the Atlanta Braves will be well represented in the National League lineup for the 2021 MLB All-Star Game. Both Freddie Freeman and Ronald Acuña Jr. were voted in as starters while Ozzie Albies finished second to Pirates second baseman Adam Frazier.
Freeman will be making his fifth All-Star Game appearance and his third straight start for the NL. He captured 48% of the vote beating out Dodgers first baseman Max Muncy. Acuña will be making his second straight trip to the mid-summer classic and his second consecutive start. Albies entered the final phase of voting with the lead but was unable to hold off Frazier over the final week.
