The Atlanta Braves will try to clinch a series win and wrap up a nine-game road trip on a good note when they take on the New York Mets again Thursday afternoon at Citi Field. Drew Smyly will be on the mound for Atlanta while the Mets will go with righty Taijuan Walker.

Brian Snitker will stick with the same group as Wednesday with the exception of catcher Stephen Vogt who gets the start behind the plate and will hit seventh. Guillermo Heredia drops to eighth in the order while Abraham Almonte gets the start in left for the sixth time in the past seven games.

For the Mets, Dominic Smith returns to the lineup after getting Wednesday’s game off. He will play left and hit third. Brandon Drury hit the game winning home run off of Max Fried in Wednesday’s game and will get the start at second base Thursday in place of Jeff McNeil.

Thursday’s game is scheduled to get underway at 12:10 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports South.
