A nine-game road trip begins for the Atlanta Braves Friday night when they begin a three-game series against the Washington Nationals. Brian Snitker talked earlier this week about how the return of Travis d’Arnaud would lengthen the team’s lineup. Friday’s lineup reflects that with d’Arnaud hitting seventh and Joc Pederson hitting eighth.
The rest of the Braves lineup is as normal with Ozzie Albies in the leadoff spot and is followed Jorge Soler and Freddie Freeman. Charlie Morton will be on the mound for Atlanta in the opener.
Here’s how the #Braves will line up tonight in DC.

For the Nationals, Victor Robles will lead off and play center. Juan Soto sat out the previous series against Atlanta but returned earlier this week and will be hitting third and playing right. Yadiel Hernandez will get the start in left and will hit fifth. Tres Barrera will catch Josiah Gray and hit eighth.
