After a long night at the ballpark, the Atlanta Braves are back at it Thursday for an afternoon special as they wrap up a three-game series against the Colorado Rockies. Atlanta is looking for a different result after two straight one-run losses. The Braves are now 4-4 on their current homestand and will be trying to avoid a sweep Thursday with Ian Anderson matching up against German Marquez.

Brian Snitker will roll out the same group of players for Thursday’s game with the exception of William Contreras who replaces Travis d’Arnaud. Adam Duvall gets another start in center field and will hit fifth. Eddie Rosario drove in both of Atlanta’s runs Wednesday and moves up to the sixth spot in the order.

For the Rockies, Charlie Blackmon and C.J. Cron are both out of the lineup for Thursday’s game. Ryan McMahon will play third base and hit cleanup. Former Brave Rio Ruiz gets the start at first base and will hit seventh.

Thursday’s game is scheduled to begin at 12:20 p.m. ET and can be seen on Bally Sports South.
