The Atlanta Braves made a couple of roster moves on Thursday, including the signing of left-hander Angel Perdomo. He received a one-year split contract for the 2024 season. The club also outrighted newly-acquired INF Evan White to Triple-A Gwinnett.

Evan White was outrighted to Triple-A Gwinnett, so he’s off the 40-man roster.
The Braves previously claimed Perdomo off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates in early November. From there, he was non-tendered and is now on his way to somewhat of a return. The 29-year-old will not pitch during the 2024 season as he rehabs from Tommy John Surgery.
Upon his return, though, he could be a useful bullpen piece. In 2023, he put together a 3.72 ERA and ate 29 innings, striking out 44 and walking just 11.
