Travis d’Arnaud added four more hits to his season total, including another three-hit game Saturday. Matt Olson entered the series finale Wednesday just 1-for-10 with six strikeouts in the series but finished with three hits, including a pair of doubles and his third home run of the season.
As good as the offense was, the pitching staff did good work as well. Dylan Dodd allowed just one run over five innings in his major league debut Saturday. Atlanta gave Bryce Elder an early lead Wednesday and he took advantage allowing just two hits and striking out six over six scoreless innings.
