I had some time this morning to sit in front of a spreadsheet, and I was curious to see how this year's team compares to other Braves teams in terms of the "core" stats. I only worked on stats that can be scaled out to factor in the remaining games without complicated inputs. So I didn't bother with anything that is represented in percentages, averages, or proprietary metrics.

With that being said, the results are pretty fascinating. This team is clearly chasing down the 2003 team on most fronts, but it was cool (to me) to see it all in one graphic. This team is a beast. There are so many franchise records in jeopardy over the next 23 games. Check it out:
