Big Things are expected of the Braves once again in 2024.

The new year if officially here!

And as always this time of year, exciting transitions are happening within the sports world.

College football is close to determining a national champion while the NFL Playoffs are right around the corner. Hockey and basketball are progressing through their regular seasons with playoff pushes soon to start. And of course, we are now six weeks from four of the best words on any sports calendar: pitchers and catchers report.

And with the start of Spring Training less than two months away, the first MLB.com power rankings are out for 2024. And while it may be a surprise to some, it is once again the Braves at the top of the list as big expectations await Atlanta once again.

The big key for the Braves will be changing their fortunes in October and making the expectations become results in the playoffs.
