Wright went with a complete game shutout, allowing two hits and no walks while striking out five in the best individual performance of his pro career.

At the plate Gwinnett was powered by Johan Camargo, who went 2-for-5 with a homer, a double, and four RBI. Ryan Casteel added a homer and a pair of RBI in a 3-for-4 game, while Drew Waters went 3-for-5 with a double and stole a base. That was basically all the offense, as there were doubles from Travis Demeritte and Terrance Gore plus a single from Jason Kipnis that accounted for the rest of the Gwinnett hits.
